Its very difficult to produce bio (gleba) science without a large supply of carbon, but the only way to get it is from the space platform. There seems to be a recipe in the encyclopedia of sulfuric acid and stone to make carbon in a chemical plant. but the chemical plant won't accept it.
Also there is no way to produce calsite so I can't use any of the tungsten carbide that is being produced in quantity.
