The idea behind the beacon system was that you could spec out the storage for a specific use case, so none of the preset values are supposed to be "fair" if you want to use them across the board. I can disable the I/O limit somewhat easily, but for power it'll be a bit more difficult. If you have suggestions on how it should behave there I'd not be against adding this. I'm just not sure how cheaty you expect this setting to be.
