Yup - the mipmapped default icons mean I've got some changes needed to the stack generation image logic which might be a little tricky; hopefully this weekend.

-- The loader fix for "Krastorio" pointed me in the direction. Deadlock just needed a longer belt.

Nice work billbo99! I tried this out. This patch works nearly perfect. Only thing you need to do by hand is replace all incoming loaders (and eventually splitters in front of them - as far as I could test it). AFAIK an update-script is needed...

I did the same in my local copy (loader-1x1) which I would think is the correct future behavior. I did have to rip up and replace a few hundred loader+1 belt segment in my current save to complete the migration.

I don't know if there's a way to detect existing save versus new game in order to have a 'fallback' behavior but the crux of the issue is the extra .5 belt segment that used to be automatically attached.

Line 65 & 80 of control.lua will need updating to "loader-1x1"

However even after these changes when I load a save from 0.17 to 0.18 .. the loaders are facing in the wrong direction all over the place.

This probably needs a migration script to fix their direction for an old save. But for a new game it should not matter.

0.18.2 appears to fix the direction of the loaders, but getting some oddness still

I adjusted the loader-1x1 parts, but i am seeing an odd blank spot in the loader. I think it is the extra .5 belt segment that is missing. I will just wait for the mod to be updated. Thanks Shanemadden for keeping this mod up to date.

Posila is taking a look at the belt issue I found after attempting to fix deadlock-loaders, following on from his 0.18.2 fixes.

He has a save game from 0.17 and my changes to "deadlock-beltboxes-loaders" ... both are in the post below if anyone wants to take a look.

No idea what Posila workload is like. Officially loaders are not in the vanilla game, so fixing them may not be Wube's highest priority.

If you need to use deadlock loaders you could use the ZIP file in the post above, but you would need to visit all your loaders and check that they were working correctly.

From a personal point of view I would like to know why they even created a new entity type of loader (loader-1x1). Maybe with all the changes Rseding has done to get most entities to sleep (inserters / trains / miners) when not doing anything, there is a chance they could be planning on putting loaders back into the vanilla game.

Under 0.18.3 I'm still seeing some stuck transport lines - might still be some bug-stomping to do. :( But, gonna go ahead and release the update - I think as far as our end is concerned it's good go to. Thanks again!
