When using creative mod to create larger blueprints I find myself building sections of factory at a time. It would be useful to be able to set a fluid void to only pull X units per minute and not everything it can get. The same goes for void requester chests and matter voids. This way I can easily test sections of my build at a time.

Yes, with all the space it requires and so doesn't let you build your creation as compact as it was supposed to when moving the creation away from creative mod into a vanilla game. Not to mention the complexity of calculating how often and for how long the pump or inserter should be on to get it right.

I still believe this would be a very helpful feature when building complex layouts

you can read the output and enable a pump 'if T < 20" etc. play around with the values til you find what works.
