Based on the old Creative Mode mod created by Y.Petremann, then patched by Pac0master, and also the Test Mode mod created by rk84. By enabling Creative Mode in the game, you can access objects that can generate unlimited items, fluid or energy, or nullify them. Perfect for testing purpose or making initial setup for games. Quick patch for 0.16 until an official release - everything should work now. Quick patch for 0.17 until an official release - if ever...

I'd like to quickly empty (unmodified) train wagons without using much space, where using two loaders and a chest seems to be a waste of space.

Ideas for this:
- Super Inserter: Like Super Logistic Bot, an extremely fast inserter. (Not necessarily with a large stack size). Should be able to unload a train wagon into a void chest (or in the other direction: from a duplicator chest) within a second.
- Void Inserter / Duplicating Inserter (maybe also creative inserter for completeness): Would only have an input position or an output position, not both.

I just noticed that there is no "creative" inserter yet in this mod.
Going to consider, sounds like a nice addition :)

matter voids don't work on trains, do they? if they do, i haven't been able to do it.

Sorry that I don't visit this site as often as before. In case you see my reply:

When you select a matter void, there is a button on the top bar of the screen (it was on the left side in 0.15 IIRC). Click it to open the options frame. Check "Can remove from vehicles in front" to make it works on trains.

I made this an option to avoid unintentional item destruction when you drive a car or tank through the front of a matter void. But now on my second thought, I should have made the matter inserters work on train by default, just not on rail-less vehicles. When you put a matter void pointing to a rail, you should have already known what you are doing, don't you? :D

Mooncat, no need to apologize. really appreciate the reply.
i now see the 'Can remove from vehicles in front'.

i have a track going left to right. the train is at a stop an loading cargo. if i put the void with 'can remove' etc enabled on 'top' north side, it doesn't empty. if i put it on the south side of the track, it works. 0_o

I can confirm this. I believe it is caused by the change on the bounding box of cargo-wagon (in 0.17?) such that the matter void placed at north facing south would only find the rail rather than the wagon on that rail as the target.

Changing the 0.9s to 1s in item_void_shift of item-void.lua can fix this issue. But I don't remember why I wrote 0.9 instead of 1. It will probably cause some other issues. Should have written the reason behind it. :p
