Crafting Proficiency


Earn bonus productivity over time just by making stuff! This mod finds all recipes (including modded) that allow productivity and have one product, categorizes them by product, and adds hidden technologies for each. Each technology has a threshold that when reached adds a 10% boost to its recipes' productivity. Startup settings determine whether you'll earn bonuses in the early, mid, or late-game, but you won't achieve the highest bonuses until you craft millions of products.

How does this differ from Progressive Productivity other than the config options and default config. Does it have the same bug of not counting anything crafted with quality? (Tested and this does work with quality)

Note that the quality bug is common to many mods that add research that unlocks by crafting. It was in base game as well at one point and I haven't recently tested if the base game research that unlocks by crafting still doesn't recognize quality variants.

Edit: After testing it looks to me like different takes on the same idea and I could see either fitting in different situations.

Hello TheOldOne! My mod is similar to Progressive Productivity though as you noted Crafting Proficiency has a different curve for unlocking bonuses, counts items of quality (as shown in the technology UI when it appears), and has additional startup settings for varying playstyles.

The effects of Crafting Proficiency and Progressive Productivity compound, so try running a game with both and see an explosion of bonus products!
