Changes the solar power curve from the usual trapezoidal shape to a cosine curve.
The trapezoidal shape is what you would expect from sun-tracking solar panels, from a static panel you expect a cosine curve.

The curve is computed such that the total energy produced throughout the day matches the usual vanilla output, so this is mostly an aesthetic tweak. I made this mod as an experiment/challenge, not for practical purposes.

Read before using / Incompatibility

As there's no way to really change the power curve of the game, this mod simulates it by adjusting the solar-power multiplier of the planet (Nauvis) each tick. Performance impact is pretty much negligible, but it's worth keeping in mind. More importantly, this makes the mod automatically incompatible with any mod that adjusts this value. It also won't affect other planets.
