Criteria
Main reason why this modpack exists is because many great/popular planet mods gate Aquilo behind them, directly affecting vanilla gameplay. Although i understand that a simple mod could probably adjust them to not do that, however, I thought rather than modifying an already existing mod (and their intended way to be played), I would just have this modpack where added planets, by intention, does not gate aquilo.
I think this modpack would be a OK choice for players that wants to try new planets, but somewhat feels overwhelmed when things change too much.
Basically, you could call this mod all planets lite lite.
- Mods that i consider to have zero to minimal impact for players who wants to play kinda-vanilla-only, but with extra planets(if that makes sense).
- Regardless of their popularity & greatness, if a mod adds their respective research / science pack as prerequisite for any research before promethium science, they were excluded.
- I haven't checked if all the excluded planet mods have option to disable those, i only considered default for this matter.
Notes
I have considered ERM Protoss (Aiur) / ERM Zerg (Chars) as optional additions so far, since they also meet this criteria.
I am relatively new to mods in general, please do leave feedbacks/suggestions. However, before suggesting new planet please do consider if they have:
- Little to no impact on existing save files
- No exclusive sciences added as prerequisite of vanilla content, except for promethium science (and research productivity)
