i Peaceful option

Hi, I'd like to suggest a peaceful mode/option where companions do not get the defense and shield equipment inserted at startup.
The reason is that there are mods like mine (Pacifist) that remove laser defense and other military items from the game, leading to crashes when your script inserts them in the inventory.

The other option would be to fortify your code, i.e. check whether the prototypes you insert in the runtime stage actually exist - adding them in the data stage does not guarantee they are still there when the map is started.

Are you deleting them in the control stage, then? Interesting. I'll see about the checks when I get around to a new update.

No. I am deleting them in the data stage, eintirely. All laser defense equipment and shield equipment is removed. Companion Drones inserts them in the control stage and crashes because there's no prototype of that name.
