i [Added] About whitelist only

Hi! Thanks for the creative work, I’m really enjoying this mod. I do have a quick question, though. In the current 2.1 version, vanilla inserters allow you to select general qualities (using >, =, <, etc.), but this mod seems to restrict it to a whitelist only. Is this a base game limitation or an intentional design choice? Also, do you think a blacklist feature might be possible down the road?

Hey, you can use the comparator signals (>, <, =, ≥, ≤, ≠) alongside the quality signals to change the filter operation, use "≠" for a blacklist. There's some more info + examples in the description.

Thank you for your reply, when using the "≠" operator, it seems to only filter out other qualities of Item A. For instance, if the filter is set to ["≠" + "Normal" + "Item A"], it only outputs Rare Item A, Uncommon Item A, etc. What I actually expect is for it to output those non-normal versions of Item A, plus every other item that isn't Item A at all.
Here is my specific use case:
• Inserter A: Needs to filter out all qualities of Item A.
• Inserter B: Needs to filter out all qualities of any item that is NOT Item A.
In vanilla (without the mod), I would achieve this by manually whitelisting all qualities of Item A on Inserter A, and simply using a blacklist on Inserter B. If I'm using your mod, is there a better way or workaround to handle this kind of setup?

Or would adding a "Blacklist" signal feature be a good alternative?

Ah I see what you mean. I'll look into allowing the actual blacklist, I think the restriction is a holdover from the earlier versions of the mod.

Added in 1.1.0. The "Whitelist/Blacklist" toggle is no longer locked to Whitelist.

Great job! I tested it and it works perfectly. Thanks for listening and helping out—this is truly a circuit-driven version of the native quality filter now!

Of course, thank you for the suggestion.
