There's not a fast way to make engines in space age, and it kind of bothered me. Most real engines are partially cast, so letting the foundry speed up engine manufacturing seemed ideal to me.
This mod adds a new item 'engine-cores' which can be made in foundries with molten iron and tungsten, and a recipe to assemble engine cores into standard engine-units.
