Curious how this is different to VehicleSnap (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/VehicleSnap)?

I personally have always played with Cardinal.
the name is nicer, the setting was, for me, simpler
no superfluous buttons, just the functional minimum and nothing more.

When it broke down after 1.0 and 1.1 I wanted to keep it alive.
still with the settings 16 which I use for a lot of game and server. (sometimes some go up to 20)

I believe that vehicule snap is dead no ?

It works on the current version and I’m not aware of any unresolved bugs. It hasn’t received an update in a long time, but if there’s nothing that needs updating, why would it? So not sure why it’d be considered dead?

Ok I tried them both, and both are perfectly valid and have no flaws. The only discernable difference being, VehicleSnap has a toggle button included in the hotbar...and Cardinal let's you make it snap to the angle faster or slower than VehicleSnap.

Basically pick whichever, they both do fine jobs.

my version it's by default on "16" but you can change to 20 or 24
