Pipes can only transport compatible fluids. You weren't going to put molten iron in an iron pipe, were you? Can be customized by other mods.

g The whole pipeline blows up?

If you add one pipe of the wrong type, it wipes your network of fluid. This is inconvenient in multiplayer, especially.

It flushes the pipes so that the remaining fluid does not immediately destroy more pipes in the same pipeline. I would need to figure out some scriptable behavior that's appropriate if it leaves fluid in the pipes.

I changed the way the mod handles pipe damage so that a small amount of fluid is lost each time a pipe is destroyed. It also introduces a delay before more pipes are destroyed.
