With this mod and K2, Electric mining drill can be crafted from the start, which should be unlocked by researching relevant tech.

With 0.1.7 electric mining drills are not craftable at the start, this is fine. But unfortunately, electric mining drill still be unlocked when the research of kr-automation-core finishes, which should be unlocked by the research of kr-electric-mining-drill.

You can confirm this by entering following command (twice) right after startup.

/c game.player.force.technologies['kr-automation-core'].researched = true

Mods in use: Graphite & Diamonds 0.1.7, Krastorio 2 1.2.25 and their requirements.
