can you add a toggle option to enable non vehicle grid equipment on vehicle grids

Not sure that I understand what you are asking for sorry. At a guess, you would like a mod setting that allows Personal Equipment in a Vehicle Equipment Grid.

yes and theres alot of modded equipment not supported by vehicle equipment and is locked out from use in vehicles

Yes other modded equipment can't be used on vehicle, causing to uninstall this
