Can confirm, also happens for other modules such as speed 8.
Needs replacing with a diffrent item. Should be a simple fix.

I would suggest something similiar hard to get. Uranium Fuel Cells, perhaps?

It's supposed to use gems, but falls back on alien artifacts.
for 0.15.2 I've removed the alien artifacts requirement, so it just has a blank space there, for now.

If gem, use gem. else if alien artifact, use that, else use nothing.

Maybe it should use uranium-238 if there's no gems?
I mean, that's high-tech, but not rare, like alien-artifacts.
