Hello! Not sure if this is just something that can't be worked around, but wanted to report it as I don't see it mentioned in a thread here (sorry if I missed it).
If you place a inserter as a ghost and then try to configure it, the configuration window will get dismissed if you have it open at the time of the placement. This means that you can be in the middle of changing inputs and the window will go away. It's a bit frustrating, and I experience it pretty regularly since I'm almost always in remote view, where all entities are placed as ghosts no matter where you are (even if you're right next to them).
