b Bitters spawned near water from mod does not start atttack

I noticed that new beaters from the mod are trying to "cross" the water, and constantly accumulate near the water.
this happens in many places where there is water. Perhaps a mistake building the path for bitters? I'm not sure, but maybe this is a mod bug?

the map shows that they can bypass the water, albeit for a long time.

Well... My biters/spitters just use default game behaviour, so they should act like any other biter/spitter, there's no reason why they should do that if others in the game don't

what version of the game are you running?
Are there any other mods installed that change biter/spitter behaviour?

I'm using latest 0.18x build
another major mods: Krastorio2 + SpaceExploration
Only Krastorio2 has slight changes in bitters, but the logic of enemy behavior in my opinion they did not change.

I'm looking into it, I think I'm missing a tag that adds the regroup behaviour.

Update:
this behavior was caused by another mod : Hovercraft. It was unexpected. I didn’t even suspect this cute mod

I did actually update the mod to try and fix this too.
My Biters/Spitters were lacking the code that tells them to "Go home and try to find another path"
