The idea of connecting up all the belts is awesome, and you're right -- tedious. I did a little test making mexmers green science in my blueprint lab using your mod to make it simpler, the result was brilliant. Using ratios for all bussed and on-site crafted intermediates derived from putting my production chain through helmod, then a x5 multiplier for the deficit, there was no downtime for any assembler in the chain, with less wasted product in the buffer and a much easier layout to build. For kicks I tested hooking up the main bus using one-way signals (so a deficit from one chain wouldn't be cancelled by a positive in the other). It was hideously beautiful.
