In short, yes.
I doubt 2.1 will make any mod breaking change for a mod as simple as automatically replacing every transport belt's sprites.
Right now, I'm still working on a bigger update for the mod (it's taking a little longer than expected because of real life stuff).

Still, if any mod breaking problem arises with 2.1, I'll try to patch them and rush out the update.
