I know part of the reason pollution seeps out of tanks and storage is to discourage players from simply storing it, but I have 2 questions to pose from this.
Primarily my question is whether it would be possible to have a delay on the seepage, for example my offsite oil mine I have been using one of the tanker cars to bring back polluted water from the air purifiers at said oil mine which then dropped off that water at another site to process/purify it before continuing on and dropping off the oil at a third site. I recently found however that most of the polluted water was just seeping out of the tank and "decaying" back into the world before it could even reach the purifier site. (I do understand that this is to discourage players from stockpiling pollutants in tanks, but it seems like being able to have offsite processing would be a realistic usage case, especially for larger multi factory setups with trains ferrying tankers of polluted water to a main purifying facility.)
Secondary question is what if we had special tanks that held pollutants for longer to allow for transportation of said materials, each time the quantity in the tank is changed the decay cooldown resets so that over time it would seep out slowly if ignored but allow for tanker cars to fill with and carry the polluted water elsewhere without losing most of it en route.
A third tangential question of course is. "What if a player wants to go full landfill and long term store the pollution rather than deal with it?" and if it were possible to add a crafting line for that sort of thing like long term storage tanks that attracted enemies and if ruptured spilled out all their pollution in a potent cloud right there and chained to nearby tanks or something.
