BerbCorp Filter Assistant

Adds quick setting filters on inserters, splitters, filtered containers, requester/buffer chests and pumps.

What it changes

  • Adds a relative GUI panel when a supported filtered entity is opened.
  • Suggests likely filters from nearby recipes, inventories, inserter pickup/drop targets, belts, circuit signals, mining resources, fluids and compatible fuel categories.
  • Left-click sets or increases a filter/request. Right-click removes or decreases it.
  • Splitter filters also choose an output priority if the splitter has none.
  • Requester and buffer chests can increase requests by stack size.

Why

Filter setup is repetitive, especially around recipe changes, belt lines and logistic requester chests. This keeps the convenience but avoids a constant per-tick global scan.

Compatibility

Release 2.0.0 targets Factorio 2.0. Space Age is optional. It does not replace vanilla entities or recipes.

The mod uses BerbCorp-prefixed runtime state and GUI names. It should coexist with normal GUI and filter-slot mods, though using multiple helper panels at the same time may be redundant.

Performance

The assistant does no active work while nobody has the panel open. When open, it refreshes active filter state on a configurable interval and performs heavier context scans less often. Belt traversal uses a visited set and a configurable scan depth.

Safe for existing saves

Safe to add or remove. It only changes filters/requests when the player clicks the assistant buttons.
