g Since the last update the mod is broken in the Blueprint Sandbox mod with "Isolation: None" setting

Someone else reported a problem with the mod not working when building in remote view. These might be related. I'll try to look into it.

I saw that and initially wanted to add to that thread but for me building ghosts from the remote view (on the playable surface) was working fine so i created a separate thread.

Could you please clarify exactly which other mod and version you're using, and confirm you encounter the bug with just that mod and this mod? And also tell me how to get into the state where you reproduce it.

I tried using https://mods.factorio.com/mod/blueprint-sandboxes v3.0.3 and launching the scenario included with that mod but I get an error just launching that scenario regardless of other mods.

The error I'm getting trying to use that mod, even without this mod: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/blueprint-sandboxes/discussion/681eed3bf81f275929761a4f

This mod's version breakdown on both my modded pY save (100+ mods) and on a clean factorio install (nothing but AUPC and BPS 3.0.3):

AUPC 2.0.3 works, 2.0.4 crashes when placing a pipe, 2.0.5 doesn't work

No, you're not suppose to launch that, you're suppose to start the game normally and then switch to the blueprint sandbox via keybind from the game.

Also all of this while BPS has the "Isolation: None" setting.

I was able to reproduce this problem using the shift+b hotkey to enter the sandbox.

The problem is that by the end of the tick when you create the underground pipe, the pipe you created no longer exists and references to it are invalid. I don't know what BPS is doing, but it might be something like what AUPC does with destroying and recreating entities when they get created.

I had to do that to work around a bug with underground pipe dragging. I'm going to try a big refactor soon that might address this, but I'm not sure it will. To be continued!
