As part of my interest in learning to make mods for factorio i went to upgrade a mod that i had dear to my heart that i felt didnt get enough love
This mod adds inline assembling machines, called "assembly lines", in three tiers.
Assembly lines take in resources from transport belts attached at specified points. Each belt must carry only one, specific item type. Each tier of assembly lines has a different number of attach points for belts, and is correspondingly limited to working on recipes of the same amount of ingredients - i.e. tier 2 can make recipes with 2 or 1 ingredients, but can't do 3. Detailed view will show which belts need to carry what items.
Technologies to unlock the assembly lines start after Automation 3.
Balancing is very much tentative, graphics are largely unfinished. Feedback welcome.

I updated this mod to include the new factorio version 0.18 not a lot of functional changes have been done so it should be compatible with assemblyline from HardyPotter as i took his 0.16 as a baseline, due all respect to the other two who have updated and created it. i have left the mod and discription largely the same but this part. Thaks to all of the other modders as i have largely learned from other mods and Factorio itself. my plan is to maintain this mod in its current state.
