Can this be extended to work with ghosts as well? I can copy paste from a ghost to a chest, but the multiplier does not apply.

oh yeah sure, try 2.0.1, let me know if it works or not since i didn't test it myself, change was small enough

That was a quick addition! Works great.

Now another thing I noticed, pasting to ghost chests doesn't add the multiplier.

try 1.0.2 and let me know if that works now too

allright, reported it here: https://forums.factorio.com/125405, gonna push an update that reverts the latest update again

Ah that's unfortunate. But odd that you can still copy paste the requests on a ghost. The Vanilla paste works

i mean, what i could do is clone the chest to another surface, revive it, apply the math, copy it back and then destroy the clone, nut it would be more convenient it the api just works

and as for why vanilla works, its just that the functionality isn't exposed to the lua api mods get to use yet

i've released a version that'll work once 2.0.29 comes out

Still getting the same crash btw when pasting to a ghost

please include a new screenshot of the crash message, and from which entity you copied this time, and if it already had a recipe set

fixed in 2.0.5 (i'm still waiting on the above forum link to make the code cleaner again, using the other method that got ghost support in .29 for now)

It's the same error I posted last time. I pasted to a requester chest ghost, https://imgur.com/a/UtgZZPO

the reason i asked for a new screenshot is to verify the mod version numbers, and this same link ofc points to the same image, and in either case you need version .29 or above and currently only .28 is stable
