General
Adds specialized armors as upgrades to standard armors. Frames have their own technology, equipment variants and a buddy robot to follow you around and help out with specific actions. Only one buddy can be deployed at a time.
Logistic Frames and Equipment

- Logistic Buddy with limited Protonetwork interface. Can work outside of a logistic network.
Logistic Buddy
- Early game helper unit which tries to emulate a logistic robot interface, but with additional setup needed.
- Trash drop-off - Buddy will try to tidy up your trash inventory even if you're outside of a logistic network. Requires a storage chest with a specified filter for the trash item.
- Request pick-up - Buddy will try to deliver items if they are available in buffer chests.
- Construction - Buddy will try to build nearby ghosts and mine entities marked for deconstruction, but can only carry one item.
Energy Frames and Equipment

- Support and Energy equipment compatibility
- Frames have a built-in solar panels and accumulators. Supplies nearby machines with electricity, plugging into electric networks.
Energy Buddies
- Turret - a more compact prototype laser turret.
- Saucer - a flying saucer with an Energy equipment grid. Supplies nearby machines with electricity, plugging into electric networks.
Production Frames and Equipment
- Extra Player Crafting Speed
- Extra Player Mining Speed
- Support and Production equipment compatibility
- Frames have a built-in Assembling Machine with crafting speed equal to armor tier
- Can slot in Portable Labs to research on the go
- Can unlock a Production car with access to a Production frame equipment grid and built-in furnace and assembling machine
Production Buddies
- Drill - tiny but fast drill.
- Pumpjack - smaller and faster variant of the pumpjack.
- Beacon - more reach than a standard beacon and full effect transmission.
Combat Frames and Equipment
- Extra Player Follower Robot count
- Extra Damage Resistances
- Support and Combat equipment compatibility
- Can unlock Shotgun and Sniper turrets
- Can unlock extra combat robot types
- Can unlock a walker Mechatank and a Tripod both of which have access to Combat frame equipment grids
Combat Buddy
- Dreadnought - an extra strong and durable combat follower robot which lasts for hours
