I'm posting these things just as suggestions after having played around a bit longer; tell me what you think.

  • Some of the item rocket capacities are funny. Used up shielded nuke cell has 10 stack size/10,000 rocket capacity, Nuclear science pack has 133 rocket capacity all other science packs have 1K.

  • Can you please decrease some of the chemical items stack sizes? The chemical items have no uses outside of being intermediates for a single recipe, but have stacks of 200. This means machines end up eating up so many vanilla resource stacks in their recipes when left alone; this gets annoying to deal with when you suddenly need to move the machines. No need for the item stacks to be so dense.
  • Specifically: 'Yellowcake', 'Potassium bromide', 'Phosphorus', 'Phosphorus pentachloride', 'Flouride', 'Thorium', (arguably) 'DU metal mixture', ... and the best one: 'Ash' (stack size 2000, a single machine empties almost an entire steel chest of Coal ); Meanwhile, vanilla uranium, coal and stone: All of them 50 stack/500 rocket.

  • Can you get rid of Productivity for Fuel rod and Breeder containment rods? It makes no sense. They get their own recycling tech w/ some bonus radioactive elements, anyway. Also, the Breeder rod takes a radioactive element (DU ingot) in its recipe... this outright shouldn't make sense to be able to use prod modules... also the ingots already get their own productivity. (better this way since the ingots actually have other uses -> ammo).

  • (Bug) Shielded nuclear fuel cells are still unlocked as part of 'Portable fusion reactor' research, instead of 'Portable fission reactor' research - making the unlocked fission reactor totally useless.

Hi!

  • Rocket capacities will be done some time later. At the current code state, the game uses the default value for ingredient_to_weight_coefficient. The results are strange. For science packs, there will be a fast fix (apm_lib_0.31.01).

  • Regarding stack sizes, maybe I'll create a mod setting to change it. For older runs with Bob's mods, current stack sizes works well.

  • Ash has a really annoying count in the early game with a huge factory. And 2K is really helpful. However, with some map settings and gameplay styles, you can skip the burner/steam era very fast and not notice ash. I think the stack size of ash can be adjusted via startup settings.

  • Yes. A suggestion to disable productivity for these items is a good one. With apm_nuclear_0.31.0, it will be quickly fixed.

  • Fixed with apm_nuclear_0.31.1. Sorry, I overlooked the effects of technologies.

With apm_power_0.31.04 stack size for ash can be changed by startup setting. This solution I'll reuse for some apm_nuclear intermediates later

Added setting with apm_lib to change stack_size for common apm's items. Default: 200. You can set it to [50, 100, 200].

Great.
However, is APM Coal & Steam required now? I'm getting this error on load without it, and can load just fine with it:
(Yeah I've been playing APM Nuclear as standalone. not that I really mind activating Coal & Steam.)

Thanks for the fast update.

Everything has been addressed in my OP topic (awesome). Stacks and rocket capacities a good now. Very handy mod option for standalone Nuclear game.

You notice about standalone feature for apm_nuclear. Only then did I realize why the redefined stack sizes was so annoying.
