Hi! Yeap, last two days I've rebase most part of API changes for apm_nuclear. There are some bugs with thorium ore settings per map creating & nuclear centrifuge integration at least.
I hope make draft release within several days

Firstly, thank you so much ldinc for keeping this mod alive in 2.0. I’ve used some variant of the mod alongside Angels/Madclowns and Realistic Reactors for many years now, and every time there is an update to Factorio I worry that it’ll be lost for good! APM Nuclear is always a central part of my favourite factories.

I made a personal (unreleased) mod towards the end of 1.1 to tie in APM Nuclear with Angels and Madclown’s mods in a deeper way. APM uses items/fluids which already exist across a Angels/Madclowns factory (such as phosphorus and fluorine), so it makes sense to try to use these recipes rather than having duplicate APM items for nuclear processing only. Some of the APM recipes are also perhaps a little unrealistic (based on Wikipedia). I think Madclown’s recipes are pretty spot on for the processing, but I prefer the APM centrifuging, cooling and reprocessing/PUREX solutions. The original APM recipe for TBP is a bit weird - Angels petrochem/madclowns adds sensible starting points for TBP production with a few custom fluids as intermediates (phosphoryl chloride, butanol, etc.) to give something more realistic and well-integrated into the Angels/MC modpack.

I also added additional crushing/grinding of the ore to make a powder as the starting point for the refinement. That was just to sort of reflect the “additional processing gives greater output” theme of the rest of Angels. So I had uranium ore going into my custom crushing recipes, going to MC items for processing, going to APM for centrifuging and fuel production, using RR for the reactors, then staying with APM for cooling and reprocessing, but using Angels/MC items for realistic TBP production. It’s the best of every mod for the ultimate in nuclear gameplay!

Not sure what the demand would be for including these recipes as a further compatibility between APM, Angels and Madclowns, but if you like I can share the recipes/prototypes below in case you would like to include? I will probably recreate it myself otherwise once Angels also gets it’s 2.0 release, but thought I’d give you a heads up first.

I think with released updates angel's & bob's mod for 2.0 the old compatability patches for apm will be broken. And some time will be spent to fix it.
About crushing ores idea - it's a good one.

My experience with Angel's Mods is limited, but it is possible to create an add-on for Angel with improved recipes and production chains. If you can provide me with ideas and recipes, I can assist in contributing to this as your independent mod or create one myself as part of APM Mods.
