You think you could consider making e.g. "companion drones" be optional instead of required? Strictly speaking they are not required for any of this to work, so it's unfortunate not to be able to disable them individually, since you made them a required dependency.
In my case, I don't want everybody in multiplayer to start the game with two completely overpowered self-fueling combat and construction robots, that can just automatically obliterate any biter nest nearby by having the player walk up to it.
