Would it be possible to make the advancd mech armor (or all armors) compatible with the "Core Equipment" mod from Disilon?

Or do i have to ask the other mod author?

Good question, I personally havent used that mod, I'll look into it. Safe bet would to also ask the other modder about their opinion and if they could do it, I haven't had any success with 'equipment'.
