Hi, as you asked I think the original mod was fixed:

Version: 0.3.1
Date: 24. 10. 2024
Bugfixes:
- Added missing trash inventory on buffer and requester chests.
- Adjusted the way stack sizes are set, to avoid load error when using with Merging Chests.

wonderful, comfirmed, i tried coming up with a pull request myself but i couldn't see how to add one that doesn't look dirty since it's all structured and tiered, I'll be marking this mod as deprecated now 👍
