An attempt to revive an old mod from 1.1. https://mods.factorio.com/mod/WaterTurret Original credit goes to Pi-C This mod provides an early game Water thrower that does minimal damage but slows down the enemies (use steam for extra damage!) and an advanced turret for extinguishing fires (use "Hardened pipes" to give it extra resistances!).

g Compatibility/logic issues

Hi there! This mod is making some really strange changes to turrets that are really messing up my game.
1 - Things like the Companion mod (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/companion-drones-mjlfix?from=search) really love to spam attacks to the fire, which make them stunned without reason.
2 - This mod is either making changes or overwritting the mod Schall Endgame Evolution (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/SchallEndgameEvolution?from=search), making biters either vanilla or a bit overtuned (i'm seeing like 20-25 biters at the same time, at the start of the game...)
3 - Turrets now do not aim at biter spawners.

I've checked my entire modlist, it's this mod sadly. Just my 2 cents, it may be related to the logic on how the mod works. Ty for your work.

The mod creates ghost mannequins on acid stains and fire outbreaks, so that they can be targeted by water cannons and used as fire extinguishers, especially with the ‘flammable oil’ mod, as accidents can happen quickly.
However, an undesirable side effect is that personal lasers and automatic missiles are a bit buggy, regularly firing at acid puddles. They must be manually configured to ignore this.
