g not working anymore at 45 angle?

hello,
im back playing factorio after sometime and i noticed this mod doesnt work as it was anymore ... before i could easy drive on concrete placed 45 angle now its not possible ...
mod doing something cos there is difference when i turn snap off/on but still it doesnt move straight which sucks for me cos i use that creature from Py mods that destroys everything if hit and cant use my roads anymore :( tested with regular car same issue and when changed setting from 16 to 8 still doesnt work - it helps you turn but it just isnt straight 45 angle)

Do you have the 1.18.7 version released last night? I don't see an issue with it myself driving along a long diagonal railroad. It doesn't deviate even a pixel.

got new version and it doesnt work like this for me , it is small difference and you can notice it after a while driving

still if i doesnt work for me i wonder why ? i was thinking there is no mod it could conflict with ... also my wife on another comp (same mods tho) have same issue

we tested this again and made sure it is really 45 angle and it does not work , it is very small difference but after a while at high speed you off road

wierd is that it always turn a bit to left , no matter if we going up or down it changes to left

Would you send the world for test? I haven't really done anything to that code so this is puzzling. There was 2 versions within a day now because the 1.18.6 (also released yesterday) was bugged in different way. So be very sure you have the .7, not .6.

Edit: Also any mod that adjusts the car angle even slightly will cause snapping to temporarily halt. I could imagine some car physics mod could do such a thing, although it might work sometimes. Even a difference of 0.001 in angle from other sources is detected by VS. It is to let player turn the car too and not fight against it, but this system is still the same as it's always been.

there is few mods ;) also some of them we edited manually but nothing that should touch how stuff drive ...

You do have PavementDriveAssistContinued, and Vehicle-physics. Which makes it 3 mods to compete of the same thing :p

i use PavementDriveAssistContinued for cruise control only so when i get plane i can set constant speed ... 2nd one i dont even know why i have lol i guess for that cool drifts and tire marks and sounds :P

but it was that Vehicle-physics , cos now it all works , sorry to bother you with this and thanks for your time, all was working before so this was 1st place to look ... ill post that stuff on that other mod forum then , tnx again

But you do give me idea for different kind of script halting that wouldn't look at the angle changed between 2 ticks, but the buttons pressed by player. I can't make any promises if it's doable, but it wouldn't be the first time i read key inputs in mod. If that can be done then it could freely fight with other mods, however it would be more dominant at it than before which may or may not be a good thing...

thats cool cos i think that other mod was giving me also some cool stuff while using aircraft but your mod is like part of game and must have :)
