I placed a few cannon turrets on the fore of a space platform targeting asteroids. Things go fine until I start moving. When a cannon is tracking something that moves out of its firing arc, it will rotate the entire building to keep tracking it. This leads every cannon rotating back at my own ship after they miss an asteroid.
This only seems to happen when the actively tracked target moves out of the firing arc, meaning that they can’t even rotate back without being placed again. This quickly leads to my platform being obliterated by its own guns.
Currently, this makes the cannons unusable on space platforms. Though I would bet the same issue applies on the ground, the conditions are just harder to trigger.
