I think it needs to be further down in the list in order to override the changes made in that mod. Check for any mods that appear further down the list than this mod. You can alternatively edit the other mod and remove any data which changes the range of the turrets, or set the values to what you want. Best way to edit it is to unzip the mod (delete the zip and keep the unzipped folder) and edit the files in notepad++.
My mod won't work for any special turrets; it only works on the three vanilla turrets. If a mod adds a new turret, it won't be affected.
