True Nukes


Adds realistic nuclear blasts, and more nuclear options, including various scales of atomic artillery shell, as well as atomic cannon shells. Also adds thermobaric weapons (these are like fuel air bombs), which act as early game nukes. Simulates the blast wave, thermal impact, crater and fireball of nuclear weapons.

b [Fixed] Unable to Add Mod

So I'm trying to add the mod and after confirming the mod and restarting the game, I'm getting this error.

Hi,
Thanks for the bug report.
I can't seem to recreate it, what version of Factorio were you using, and do you have any other mods installed?
Also, just noticing the file-names seem a bit weird, in the mod it is "data.lua" and the report has "data.lau", so I'm wondering if it's some kind of bad download, or its been corrupted somehow? Maybe try deleting the mod, and downloading it again...

I'm running Factorio 1.0.0.

It didn't occur to me earlier that it might have been a conflict with other mods so I turned off everything and was able to install True Nukes just fine. So after a process of elimination, seems I'm able to duplicate the error when I have True Nukes, Make Artillery Great Again, and Mushroom Clouds enabled. Any 2 combo works fine but I get the error when I try to have all 3 enabled.

Ok, thanks, found the issue.
It is just the three you mentioned, and the issue is pretty obscure.
The problem really lies in Make Artillery Great Again, which removes the chart_picture from the artillery projectile (I think by accident).
True Nukes then tries to override it, and can't, as it isn't there. The issue requires Mushroom Cloud to arise, as this changes the order in which the mods load.
I am going to put a quick hack into True Nukes, in order to re-add that element if it isn't there, and then report it to MAGA as a bug.

Just reported bug in MAGA to the author, but the mods should get along just fine for now, with the new version of True-Nukes
