Technology Price Multiplier

by Jobus

Precisely tweak technology costs with decimal multipliers (0.5x, 1.2x, etc.), offering fine-tuned control beyond the vanilla game's integer-only setting. Also includes advanced options for infinite tech and tier-based cost scaling.

g Isn't this already in vanilla?

Yeah I just checked with my mods disabled, in the "advanced" tab in a new game there's a technology modifier option. Does your mod do something extra or something unique in comparison?

I explain this in the mod description:

The difference between this and the native option (found when creating a new game) is that it supports decimal factors, so you are able to reduce the price (0.5 for half) or increase it slightly (1.2 for 20% more expensive).

The vanilla option can only go: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. My mod gives you much more control.

Additionally, my mod lets you control the exponential cost growth of the infinite technologies.

Then I would politely recommend you do some light markdown formatting in your description to separate it into clearly designated chunks so it's easier to read. That's why I missed it in the description, because I, like a significant fraction of the human population, glaze over when I see too long of a chunk of uninterrupted text thanks to internet brainrot, so you need to use

Titles

and dividers:

to separate topics and bold text to highlight key points and other stuff like that to better compartmentalize the description. That way a lot more people will actually read it instead of just glancing and moving on.

Is it stupid? Yes. Is it the reality of the way things are anyways? Also yes.

You're right, the description was not skimmable at all.

I followed your advice and updated it.

Thanks for the feedback.
