There should be a way to cancel it. It doesn't appear in the SE mod. You could try asking Earandel how he did it.
thanks for pointing out that SE had to solve this too. i applied the same fix now and uploaded version 0.1.2 (its not a perfect fix because the notification will also not appear when a rocket is launched regularly from the normal silo)
