I'm playing on 1.1.3 and I've taken damage to both my spidertron player and a bunch of items in my world from biters and I can't use a repair pack on anything at all. Everything just stays damaged and when i try and use the repair pack nothing happens at all. Is this intended behavior?

Hello, that is an unfortunate part of the game that I can't remove. As noted in the mod description, you can use fish to heal yourself (and construction bots to heal yourself and other buildings when you unlock them). If you can't wait until then, then enable the option in settings that allows you to leave the spidertron temporarily and use the repair packs whilst not in the spidertron.

Check out 1.8.0 which has automatic self healing and the ability to emit a repair cloud to heal the surrounding buildings.
