In your detailed mod portal description, the only reason you list for migrating to this mod from Bob's inserters is that this is open source, while his is closed. But there's another REALLY big reason that you could mention: Bob's mod doesn't give the ability to set pickup offset priorities. Only drop offsets.
This has irritated me for ages with his mod, as much as I love it in every other way. Why on EARTH did he not include this feature? I specifically found this mod for no other reason than because I was fed up with that, and desperately searching for a good inserter mod that did it. That is THE reason that I am about to install and try this one out. If it works like I'm envisioning from the description, it will be exactly what I've been wanting for a long time now.
So that's my suggestion. You should mention that in the description as one of the good reasons to switch.
I'll post again once I've actually played with this if needed. There are a few other deal-makers/breakers I want to test to see if it's what I hope, (like whether pickup offset is a priority offset (good), or a hard "ONLY take from here" restriction (bad)), but I suspect that my apprehensions will not come to pass.
