The technologies added by this mod will always exist, even when the Range technologies startup option is disabled or when Max inserters range is below the max technology bonus. They are hidden from the queue, and you aren't able to research them, but they prevent you from completing the "Tech maniac" achievement. They also show up in mods like Auto Research.

If possible, please don't define these technologies unless the mentioned startup options require them.

If I can avoid removing them Ill avoit id.

For now I added the "enabled = false" parameter in the disabling process, this should fix your issue, If this does not work Ill change it.

P.S. I checked and in Auto Research they do not show.

I've found a workaround: I've enabled the maximum range in the options, researched the missing tech, and lowered the max range back to 3. That gave me the achievement and hid the techs in Auto Research.

It's weird that they don't show up for you. Maybe some mod combination in my game is affecting it? I'm not sure what could do that. If I try to find the Inserters range 4 and 5 (the disabled ones) using the search bar, they don't show up, but they're there if I scroll down the list.

I've updated to 2.0.17 and loaded an earlier save, and the extra research still shows up in the Auto Research list if I scroll down. Disabling the research in the options also didn't remove them.
I couldn't wipe my achievements, so I couldn't check if it also blocked the achievement.

Anyway, I got it unlocked, so if you can't reproduce it, we can probably close the thread. Thanks for checking.

Maybe the auto research mod you used does not update the technology list until you research a technology, so updating/changing the mod might not have affected the list of technologies stored in it. This is just an ipotesis thought, I'll try and reproduce your issue.
