I also just got this error with a friend's server, I think when we both opened up the gui at the same time but I'm not sure. We have just started a new save and I threw down 2 burner inserters with the default settings for the mod and it crashed the server when we both came over to check out how the inserters were working after I changed them to show it off with a pair of burner drills and a stone furnace in a sort of square formation, drills on the top two furnace in the lower left and inserters under the right drill.

I have the same error message on my multiplayer session whenever the person who isn't hosting opens up the inserter menu. It is literally the exact instant it happens that it pops up and kicks everyone out.

Exactly, it just happens when my friend opens the gui for the inserter.

I'll investigate it, could you check if the in-world selector has problems too?

Also, it's kinda hard to try and fix something multiplayer related alone, if some of you could jump on discord for some test it would be nice
