As in the title in the version 16.20 the refueling system doesnt work the train just cant find the station

broken again in 16.36 i can see the Refuel station in the station listing for stops but it is Red and it cannot find the station. Station name is "Refuel L-CCC-L" but it seems to be defaulting to "Refuel"

I just added a command to rescan for train stops. use /st_find_stations in the console.

Your problem sounds like SmartTrains for some reason "forgot" that there's a Refuel L-CCC-L station. Running the command should fix it for the time being. Are you using any mods that auto rename trainstops or something similar?

If the problem persists a mod list and savegame would be great

no mods with auto renaming. Actually this mod is the only train mod i am running at the moment. will test tonight and see how it works.

sadly, i am getting the same thing. Refuel L-CCC-L is not found but looks for Refuel.
