A quick fix to using landfill to fill shallow water areas (marsh, mud, shallow water). These are normally not present in the usual world generation but some mods may enable them.
If you don't have any unfillable shallow water, you don't need this.
I only know one way to reproduce this:
- install Alien Biomes to generate a Nauvis with marsh/shallow water
- AB already has this fix incorporated, so you would be able to landfill the shallow water already
- do not enable the Space Age mod
- SA also has this incorporated, though I haven't found shallow water on Nauvis it is also not labeled as Nauvis-exclusive, so it's probably around on Gleba
- remove Alien Biomes
- the tiles (shallow water and marsh) are built into Factorio so they will not be removed however the landfill fix from AB will no longer be present, making them unfillable
