Space Exploration locks away a few relatively low-tech researches until you have multiple planetary bases. Some of these include artillery, uranium ammo, and advanced logistics (the one that gets you requester chests). While there are good arguments for why these researches are the way they are, by the second playthrough of Space Exploration, it really gets old.
Here is a complete list of all the researches this mod changes.
Vanilla:
- advanced logistics can be researched before launching a satellite
- kovarex can be researched without anything more advanced than orange rocket science
- all vanilla nuclear power related stuff can be researched without anything more advanced than rocket science
- uranium ammo can be researched without anything higher than rocket science
- coal liquefaction can be researched with the same research ingredients as advanced oil processing
- artillery can be researched without anything more advanced than rocket science
Aircraft (optional):
- the airplanes are all generally easier to get
- the afterburner doesn't need research higher than rocket science
True Nukes (optional):
- the medium-tier nukes are a little easier to research. The tech tree is complicated, the author updates this mod often and I didn't want to butcher it too much but I made the medium-tier nukes a little easier to get.
If I figure out how to make a user options menu work, I'll add customization settings in the future.
Note that this mod doesn't change any crafting ingredients. It only modifies research prerequisites and research pack requirements of the specified researches.
