idk if this mod is still being worked on, but I think a possible solution to the robotanks getting stuck would be to have some hotkey to make them form a single file line, following the player's tank path exactly, to avoid running into things, and a second press of the hotkey brings them back into the previous formation. I think this might be easier than trying to have them intelligently navigate around obstacles while also keeping formation. Trying to back up with this tank-snake behind you might be... an interesting problem though.
