Biter evolution and expansion is controlled by research progress and launched rockets.
The speed of the evolution can be configured:
- early means the biters grow faster than your research progress
- linear sets it such that once 100% research is done the biters are fully grown
- late lets the biters grow slower than the research progress
Infinite research is excluded from the calculation.
Biter expansion can also be controlled to start
- never
- at some percentage of the biter evolution
- at the first rocket launch
An optional dynamic biter expansion results in biters expanding faster the more rockets you launch and the more you research.
This is the first public release - I use this mod for my own games for quite some time.
