Can we change the color of walls or maybe just be able to configure vanilla walls hitpoints?

I do feel indeed in 1.1 that they are a bit dark compared to what they used to look like.. what else would you change of the color?
And the vanilla is supposed to be a weaker wall, but afaik we didn't change the vanilla wall at all... the new walls are just better....
