I am glad to introduce you to the Raven plane.

A successful flight carry out in three stages:
1) Acceleration - before takeoff the Raven will crash into obstacles and has a low turning speed like a real airplane.
2) Flight - accelerate and avoid all obstacles to gain altitude. At this stage, the Raven has better maneuverability than during takeoff and landing.
3) Landing - Slow down until the aircraft land after which it will again crash into obstacles in it's way.

The Raven is not designed for takeoff or landing on water and sand. If it land on sand, the plane will be slightly damaged.
The plane also can't gain enough speed on sand for a successful takeoff (build landing stripe with concrete or stone).
