Hi, of course, you can report anything you find. The only thing I found and fixed with a friend was the lines to the chest. But I don't know how the mod will work up with more players.

I have 3 people in game and so far no crash on load, loot spawning, and pickup.

May I request that you add options for what categories of items that may drop? It might be cool if they only dropped ammo, buildings, fuel, and ore for instance.

Maybe a multiplier for the quantity of items would be cool as well.

I love this mod already! We're going to host a big multiplayer game starting tonight with OARC and this is a really cool and timely addition!

I will try to do it within a few days, but there may be a small problem with adding what you are asking for, because I don't know if you only want items from vanilla or from mods. If it's from mods, I need a list of what you are mod using and what exactly should be in the chest. Currently, the mod can dropped any item from the enabled modifications (excluded hidden and infinity's).

If you just enable by item-subgroups such as item-subgroup="ammo", "equipment", "military-equipment, "raw-material", "raw-resource" etc that should apply to both modded content and vanilla content, no?

Got it! Been playing for a couple hours, 10 people or so, no crashes/ everything working as expected. Well done!

Other features I have thought of:
Planet selection: some mods use hidden surfaces to accomplish certain tasks, in this case Quality Condenser. I would like a was to disable spawning on that surface or limit it to spawning only on a) the vanilla surfaces b) surfaces specifically allowed by the player (as in a text field)

Quality: if quality items are supported I haven't seen them. If they are supported might be good to similarly limit the quality of items that drop randomly (again either by limiting to vanilla qualities or by a drop down/slider that specifies 1-99 or so)

  1. Fixed a bug where chests could spawn on technical or temporary surfaces
  2. Items with quality drop, but very rarely. (Legendary +/- 0,05%) It works with mod quality.

Nice! I am adding some custom code to allow for custom multipliers on particular items. For instance in our current game holmium basically acts as currency so leveled holmium and tungsten ore/plates are highly desirable. I am still kind of new at modding so I will not be doing any GUI stuff but maybe you can use something that I add.

I am talking to another modder who is working on a trade and RPG system. I think it would be fun for the three of us to collaborate (hopefully I can contribute in some ways) on a wider multiplayer mod with a variety of features like OARC. They are currently working out a currency system that I'm doing my best to help with, using the item "coin" which OARC uses for enemy item drops.

Would you be interested in doing something like that in the future?

I want to additional “text field” where items can be entered. However, I need to ensure that items are not entered incorrectly, or if something is entered incorrectly, the item will be ignored. And add "black list" for OP items

Not a problem! I am just really happy to see multiple people working on multiplayer mods for Space Age. I will do my best on my end to make these mods compatible and possibly even work together/have some interaction, such as having coins in loot drops which can then be used in the market.

If you're talking about "coins" from Factorio, I'll try to add code so that it adds to the table if the appropriate mod is active.
